agreed. I mean yea if you want to see minimal gains and the bragging rights to a blower swap it can be considered "bolt-on". But if you want the full results of the blower...it is not cheap, nor for the faint hearted.

if your wanting your 300hp then sure...you may be able to get away with 2.5 piping size. You definitely would have to change out the over axle part. That will not fly. But then again, why spend the 2500+ for the blower

If you are pushing the higher numbers, which I would have to venture to say I'm at 320ish range right now (need to go to a dyno to confirm) then yes exhaust would need to be changed.

I just dont know why you would spend the money on this blower without wanting to push well over 300whp. And to do that yes you will need the mods we have said.

Ok, first - I'm going to be nice and just ask you to head over to SupraMania.com and find out who I am. The concept of forced induction, and what that entails, is not a new concept to me.

I don't want the extra heat associated with the M62 vs the TVS1320. THAT is why I'm going to upgrade the blower. Larger blower at the same pressure will heat the air less (look up 'adiabatic efficiency') therefore I won't need to worry about a heat exchanger upgrade (tho that is on the list)

So tell me, after I tune the car, have the 3" exhaust setup, and 60lbs injectors, what else will I 'need' to run the TVS1320? The goal here is an efficient 280-300rwhp, for a quick, fun daily driver.

In case you aren't familiar with tuning an EFI system, a wideband AND an EGT probe are what I use to tune.

I was not aware that you actually understood how to tune, yes AFR and egt are very important as well as the software...HPTuners. If you are not wanting more heat then please stay with the largest pulley. But still I would say dual pass endplate and a heat exchanger. Even with the stock M62 there is alot of heat. SC's are slightly hotter than turbos in certain aspects. So cooling mods are more important than anything. Sorry if i came off rude. I just didn't understand why you were willing to go through the work for just a fast daily driver for the wife.

I love my wife - and if she's happy, I'm happy, if you get my drift!
