OK So I did confirm that anything with the Recaros will NOT have passenger pressence feature (same goes for the 06 Cobalt SS) This is because there is a special sensor pad within the seat cushion that weighs the occupant in order to determine if it's a child or adult to enable the airbag. Recaro has no provisions to add that to their seat at this time.

I looked at an 06 comp package redline the other day. I dont like the new seats or the gunmetal rims. I liked the look of the radio though, and I want the foggies

I'll call BS on this. This is Saturns biggest selling point! Every salesman does the old, look @ the car next to the one he's showing you and says "oh good it's a saturn" and then he slams the door into it I told him that I already own a saturn and paint cars for the last 20 years so I know I also told him that even though the plastic panels are dent resistant, they still have ordinary car paint on them that will chip and scratch just the same (as I pointed out the large chip in the paint on the door edge he had just damaged) He just smiled and changed the subject really fast. I will never buy a new car with steel panels again that I can forsee. I'll never forget how sick it made me feel when my 1st new car (integra lss) got all dinged and dented all down the sides by inconsiderate assholes around here! And I'm sure that if my car had steel it would be already the same

do you guys have any official stuff saying that? I'm not calling BS on anyone , but none of the dealers I've talked to have any idea that is happening (that's not saying much AT ALL) and I've yet to find anything official online or offline saying that they would be removing it COMPLETELY?

well the plastic might stay on the VUE for a few more years but the 07 ions i've seen so far are all based off the opel chassie and with metal bodies... none of the new pictures for the ion look anything like the ions we know today

Wow! I'm really surprised about that You may be right IDK,but I'll believe it when I see it. I wonder if the plastic is much more expensive to produce? Also in all the reviews that I've read they bashed the RL because "the plastic panels aren't as stiff and ridgid as steel" Some chrome-molly frame connectors will easily stiffin up the ride though. I plan on fabricating some up one day soon!

I apologize for the BS term because I don't really know any facts to back it up ...I just find it hard to believe!

yea a lot of people do... i mean plastic is saturn.. which basicly means getting rid of it is like getting ready of our induviduality.. but as of right now the RELAY and the SKY all on all metal bodies.. so with the ORAR and the newly designed ION will all be metal bodies.. VUE will prolly follow in 08
