Subtle changes for the 2006 Ion Redline

The Saturn ION Red Line was not met with enthusiastic reviews when it first debuted, and now that Chevrolet has introduced their own hot compact coupe, what is Saturn to do? Well, It seems they have decided to take the ION Red Line down a slighty different path.

I think GM decided to give the Ion Red Line its own path when they decided to make it the red-headed step-child....

I think that might have always been the plan . There is a reason they alsways are showing the Comp Package on in red, I get it now though.

This New Comp. package should be a way of updating the Ion RL. Well thnk about it. Saturn has had many different and new cars come out. we have the new Minivan... the Relay... we have a new front styled Ion sedan... there is a new Vue coming out, some ppl may have already seen some at dealerships and/or spy photos. and there is a brand new convertable, the saturn Sky. plus if saturn puts the concept Aura into effect. so i think that saturn is trying to build the company without leaving some of there cars in the old ages u might say. so tell me if i am wrong. but i think that this new RL is going to be a hit. and i am not positve so 4 give me if i am wrong, i heard that there is a updated 2.0 litre S/C coming out soon like 4 next yr or 07. kinda like how dodge did there Srt-4. so i thnink this willl be a very interesting car.

The new VUE is out. My dealer has them here and when I was in Georgia the dealer there had them.

Unfortunatly in '07 they'll all be cookie cutter "stamped" metal bodies, no more "rubermaid" cars. No more "uniqueness" for the brand; I think the is a bad IMO!!
