I know nothing of Spring Hills future nor anything about the cobalt. I also have no idea where the ASTRAs final assembly point will be. I do know the OPEL based VUE
replacement will debut at the LA auto show in Nov. and it will be sold here as a 2008 model. That would close Spring Hill for SATURN, but there are rumors that the sub compact CORSA could be a Spring Hill baby.[rumor only]

hmmm...yeah, I think I'd rather not go by the places you get your info because it doesn't necessarily always come out true...if I were you, I'd go with what NoRemorse tells you...we know what the engine is even thats replacing the ION RL...he also knows all the new 08 models...


Brian (NoRemorse) knows all, lol. He get get almost all inside info from GM. WopOnTour is our guy on the site for the true technical info...you want schematics for the ECM, he has it...

All of the adverts Saturn does says the plastic panels are the reason Saturn is better....

isn't the new cobalt ss gonna be turbo? the new ion is probly gonna have the same setup.

I heard they were just killing off the ss completely.. will only be able to get the 2.4, who knows what will happen though..

i believe it is being killed off, and that guy was just incorrect

however the 2.0 sc is being killed off even in the SS cobalt

the 2.0 sc couldnt pass some new test and gm is going to most likely swich to turbo
