Yeah, the ION is dead, and the Astra is on its way.

i sell the chevrolets, and the sssc is no more. or atleast soon will be

This is true, most magazines have already confirmed it for the new model year. (Motor Trend, Car and Driver, Automobile etc...)

It just means there most likely will not be anything new developed for our cars. Not enough numbers to justify the development and production cost.

Well you boost junkies will have to do like me!
I'm switching to a 2008 HHR SS (I dont fit too well in the Solsti GXP or Sky RL)
It has the 260x260 LNF!
AND
a new improved version of the F35 (MU3) with G85
AND
Despite the Bosch ECM, the next version of HP Tuner WILL support it! (in fact the current "beta" already does)

Long live the A-Body! (even if it IS built in Mexico)

No matter how much power they give to the HHR i wouldn't drive it. I think it is so ugly. But to each his own

Well OK
But it looks like the long rumored "on-again off-again" Cobalt LNF might be ON again... so maybe that's more to your liking???
