They just redesigned it I highly doubt they would do a complete redesign and then kill it

It's like GM is chasing their own tail or something. More tweaking, less going back to the drawing board.

From what I see, they do a good job with the Vue, no need to redesign the whole thing..

Cons: After market for body-related items will blow. Oh well, I wasn't planning any anyway.

Hopefully, whatever comes out engine wise for the Cobalt SS/SC will be able to be used on ours/ vice versa.

Pro: I drive a rare car as it is. See other RLs maybe twice, three times a month, and it's the same ones. I get stares all the time; people wondering just what the hell that is.

And since the new "Evoke" will most likely looking nothing like the Ion, my RL will stay "fresh" until I'm done paying for it (4.5 years) and beyond.

Ahhhhh well.

Just because a car is 'rare' doesn't mean that it will be worth money or increase in value over years as I am sure you all know. It all boils down to the demand of the car once it is discontinued. I highly doubt the Cobalt SS/SC or RL will be a car that is in high demand, but I could be wrong. Saturns in particular have always suffered a kinda' lack luster mentality. Personally, my 95 Saturn was the best car I ever had 7 I like the RLs, but.....

I only saw one other RL around where i lived. It was the same guy i saw him a few times but still nothin else. There was a guy that had a QC with the redline wing but that was the closest thing to another RL.
