Um, Mike94sl2? The Saturn motor was not the first GM 4 banger with a chain, nor the last. The Quad4 used chains from '88 to '95, it's replacement the 2.4 TwinCam used them from '96 to '2001, and all the EcoTec motors - including the supercharged LSJ - have timing chains, not belts. The only belts found in those motors are the same ones you'll find in your Satty, for accessory drive.

Already have 3 '07's on my lot, so if they're not building an '07, somebody better tell the factory, lol!

Not sure if '07 or '08 will be the last year of the Ion/Ion Redline. But if what I hear about the new Hyundai is true, everyone's gonna have to step it up, not just GM!

On the brighter side, we already know that the Delta platform will support AWD, and the LNF looks promising with 266 underrated HP. I could see a <$25k 266 hp AWD Redline replacement being VERY realistic....

You have three '07 Ions on your lot or three '07 Redlines??

edit: Well, I just checked Saturn of West Sahara and Saturn of Henderson (In Vegas) and both returned 0 results for Redlines.

you're seriously doubting there's 07 RLs???? There's at least two members on the forum that have 07s, and there are QUITE a few that people have seen on lots.... lol

Exactly! The guy told me (surprised he even knew) that yes, there are 07 RLs, but they stop making them in 3 weeks.

He said around this time next year you can see the new version of the ION, which I told him is the Opel Astra and that the Redline will be the same 2.0 in the SRL, but longitudial engine.

Says who? I thought the only delta that was going to have AWD was the SSR, and they did away with the AWD version before production. So to my knowledge, there are no AWD deltas running around.

Oh no, I never doubted it, I just couldn't find anything listed or any dealers that had them in stock.

It just struck me as odd that the Saturn site say "limited availability in '06" usually something in limited availability is either a first or last year car.

Thats cool then, my whole questioning really is, are there any difference in 06 and 07?
