Thats cool then, my whole questioning really is, are there any difference in 06 and 07?

yea welcome to GM's handling of the RL. same way along the lines of blue wasn't technically a color choice for the 06 RL lol.

and yea 07's lost the recaros, the back bumper/fascia changed back the old early 04 style, and i haven't heard definitively if they have lost the fog lights standard. oh and they INCREASED the price

Ah okay, thanks. Nothing too big then. I'm just paranoid because of what happened the last time I bought a new car.

Back in Feb of '01 I bought a Hyundai (It was the only place that would give me credit) Tiburon without doing any research whatsoever. They didn't make an '02 Tib, but a few months later they released the '03 with a new body style and a GT V6 version. I felt like an ass. When I started researching the RL before purchase I couldn't find anything relating to an '07, so I went ahead. Just didn't want to find out that a more powerful version was coming just after I bought my '06.

won't be just after, but the next one should be pretty meaty. but i'd say 2008 for that at the earliest, especially considering there doesn't seem to be any real definitive data about it yet :P

but yea 07 is worse than the 06 :P

Limited availability in 06? When hasn't there been limited availability on the IRL ever?

Do you guys think discontinuing these cars will hurt or help the value?

ask GM :P they said it like I said remember as well taht their site said 06 didn't have a color option of blue.

and the value all depends on what happens, i'd say it's impossible for us to predict.

if the aura RL is as kickass as some are making it out to me, the price will drop like a stone (AWD 300+ hp?).

it basically becomes whether or not the SS crowd is attracted to the RL ultimateily imo.

If people see the SS, and then the current SS people tell them about the RL. The price will stay at a nice lofty rate. However if the RL continues to be ignored, it'll drop even more. I'd say it's fully up in the air right now and it all depends on how the public ends up viewing the RL by the beginning of 2007

If the Cobalt and the RL are essentially the same car mechanically with the main differences being aesthetic which IMHO the RL is more pleasing to the eye, I can't see why the price would drop.

I dunno, maybe I'm just thinking Talon/Eclipse and assuming the interest in the RL will mirror that.
