Gear Grind

Ive never had a 5 spd before, I was wondering how terriblly serious is it to grind your gears. I grinded mine from 2nd to 3rd today...and it kinda poped it into neutral.....like how really bad is that...like you think it would break something?

as long as you don't do it on a daily basis, you'll be fine, it's not the best, but i doubt anything is broken

My SC2 used to grind on the 1-2 up/down shift every morning when it was cold. It did that for 3 1/2 years with no issues what-so-ever when I traded it in. The Redline tranny should be built much better than that one was.
