Air/fuel operation???

hey guys, I did about a million searches for this and I cant find anything pertaining to it. anyways, I searched for the instructions on installing a A/F gauge, and I followed them to a t. All my gauges are hooked up and seem to be working except for a few problems. first of all. I know the ebay air fuel gauge is a joke, but it came with the boost gauge so I hooked it up anyways. it has been run straight into the purple wire on the 02 sensor. when I am driving it just sweeps from left to right unless I am WOT then it goes all the way to the right (rich) I guess all I wanted to know is if the sweeping action is normal???? For my second question I was wondering if boost gauges make any noise? mine seems to have a hissing and I am not sure if it is a leak or what? I used teflon tape and tried my best to seal it???? it is definitly some sort of leak, but I was just wondering if boost gauges need to bleed of a little pressure and create a small hiss its very faint. I would guess its probably a leak but I thought I would check with you guys. thanks

Mine does the same thing. It just swings side to side when driving normal. When your on the gas its in the rich area, then when you let off it goes to the lean area. Thats what a narrowband one does.

Never seen a boost gauge that made any sound. Yours sounds like it has a leak.
