They come w/ the solenoids and bottle, but they do not come w/ the main line. That has to be purchased and installed separately. The car only comes "nitrous ready" b/c nitroused vehicles aren't always legal on the road.

Most of the SVT and Saleen Foci driving around do not have functioning nitrous.

Not only that, it would void the warranty if you hook it up. Neither Ford or Saleen will honor it.

There's a couple of SVT Foci (That sounds funny... lol) running around here too. Most of them are stock but there is a black one with a Vortech (I think) S/C. He was at a local car show about a year ago and he had a dyno sheet that showed 320-ish at the wheels. It was a very nice car. I don't remember a lot about him except that he was 30-something and pretty cool. I still see him driving around from time to time. (When the weather is nice.)

I finally saw one of the Saleen Focus last week. Different, not bad for a Focus. Get him on a track and play with him.

Saleen website says it will run a 14.0 on the bottle. THAT IS WITH A OPTIMAL DRIVER AND TRACK CONDITION.

And rightly so. I wouldn't warranty the notroused car of some snotty-nosed brat from the F/F generation.

You're absolutly right, but they don't tell you that when you buy the car. The way I understand it, if you just hook the bottle up & not even fill it the warranty is history. You should be able use what you paid for, dammit you bought a fire breathing N2O Saleen Focus. Nope, read the fine print bitch.

Correct. They have no way of knowing whether it was filled or not, so they err on the side of caution. The DO tell you this, though. It's also in the paperwork they give you.
