XM Options

I had an external unit in my Neon, but there doesn't seem to be a convenient place to mount it in the RL. I thought about getting a stock XM setup, but it looks like that'll require a drill to the roof.

So my question is this: What kinda XM setups are you guys running, where did you mount the gadgets, and what do you recommend?

Thanks.

I have Sirius, same difference, but it's mounted in the lower left corner of my front window. The lack of gauges in front of you provides a few different mounting locations...

I had XM in the RL but I had an Alpine that was XM ready and the tuner box was stashed in the dash.

go here:www.pro-fit-intl.com

They have a kit for the Ion that will fit our car. It's a bracket that bolts on and actually looks pretty good. 40 bucks or so (they may give you a discount if you tell them you're having it installed at best buy or circuit city.) Plus it swivels so you can turn it where you want it. Definitely a recommended buy.

Sirius here also, same lower left corner of windshield as Spooner. With the instrument cluster being there its wide open for possibilities.
