Show your support for HPtuners guys....

Sinister started this thread over there on their forum. Everyone post begging and pleading to show how much DEMAND there is for access to tune this car.

Oh, and it wouldn't hurt if you 04 owners let them know that we need it too.

I see a couple of you have posted over there already.

SWEEEEET!!!!

I really want these guys to know that we NEED this shit.

I'm thinking about holding off on gm stage kits to get this instead. I mean, you can't beat complete control over your car's computer.

YA, What he said...... Thanks JPK.

BTW SMS is in the process of working on these pcm's using a company that has already tuned the new sky pcm's. More or less its becoming a race to who has it first.

HP will allow user changes where as SMS will have pretuned pcm's. The sms is best suited for those without any tunning skills and mearly want something already figured out. Also the SMS will have several options, basicly tell him what you have and what rpm limit you want and boom its done.

VS hp you kinda have to know what you are doing and a wideband, obd-2 reader, and oh ya did I mention the know how. This is good for us with massive mods but not for those with stock engines and bolt ons...

So you only suggest the HP if you have A LOT of engine work done?

I won't have anything major done to my car for a long time. It's my daily driver.

So is SMS selling entire PCM's? If so...that's gonna be PRICEY!!!!

I don't really know a whole lot about tuning but I have friends that do. I'm confused on what to get now. Thanks a lot Sinsiter.

Actually you're a little late. People have been asking so much that its supposed to be released this week I think. They said by the end of April. This means in about two weeks Intense will offer them on their website for sale!

From intense, I called last week and I was told they have put a hold on the lsj's at this point due to their involvement with some 3800 crowd (keep in mind this is their bread and butter). They did say in a month or two they would resume work for us.

JPK, hp tunners is a great tool BUT some basic knowlage in pcm tunning is required. The sms pcm's will be offered as a send yours get yours back in a next day there next day back. Down time will be fairly low and keep in mind GM's stage tune is still kinda conservative.....

From the thread over there at hp its looking good for the cobalts but once again we are getting F@CKED for having the first run of this package and haveing faith, unfortunately misplaced in products..... Saturn is again on the back burner, I know its going to be brought up so here it is until someone (reputable company) can confirm the pcm is the same then I am not going to beleive it is............

Crap...I'll ask the guys at HPTuners tomorrow if they know companies that are buying their program to reprogram PCM's for profit.

Intense charges around $100+ for the PCM flash and I'd rather get it through someone than having to buy the whole program, ya know?
