Where does your car fall in line, from 1 to 2500?

Given the numbers from blue_arcade, I have narrowed it down that my Red Line is between RL #94 to RL #125. Last six of 201305, built on Apr 27, '04, 32 built that day. 30 built on the 28th, 38 built on the 29th & 18 built on the 30th. So that means you guys who have a May 1st car are at least #211 (27 March + 184 Apr = 211) and if 'Arcade will supply the daily count for May 1st, we can get the end of day number for a high limit.

I don't know if having that early of a produced vehicle is good or not. So far I have had NO issues at all. It has 7200 miles on it and has been in the garage since Jan 10th except for 30 miles last Saturday. The only thing I have that has been posted about is the lag in second gear that seems to run to 4500 - 5000 RPM. It's like a huge turbo lag that all of a sudden, I got boost.

I wonder what mine is. He said it was built on June 12th but nothing beyond that.

Total RL's built on May 1, 2004 were 30. There were 491 RL's built in May, ending in the VIN 4Z210265. Hope that helps you.

I'll break it down another way.

27 RL's in March
184 RL's in April
491 RL's in May
1315 RL's in June
288 RL's in July
319 Rl's in August

Grand total = 2624

I have to point out that I have ALL the VIN #'s for ALL the Ions, not just the Red Lines from March 26, 2004 to August 7, 2004. That's why I can't pin point the exact numbers for RL's in sequence.

Only redlines should have "P" as the 8th character in the VIN. Hope that helps the deciphering.

Well, my list only states the VIN #'s as such, 4Z******. So, actually I don't have entire VIN #'s. Sorry. I'll see what I can do, though.
