Air Temp1 verse Air Temp2 with Scan Gauge

Just wondering what people see on their gauges as far as air temps. I just recently had my intercooler pump replaced because I thought that it wasn't working(And it wasn't). When my air Temp1 was at 100 my Air temp2 was around 200, and I thought that was too hot. Since I was having that replaced I also had them add Water Wetter to the coolant. Now when I have an Air temp1 of 100 I have an air temp2 of around 130. Does that sound like others are getting now?

Anything close to 40 degrees from 1 to 2 is good.

I've watched mine pretty close for a while. At a stop light it will go up to 140-160 but never anywhere near 200.

When normal driving on interstate figure about 20-30 degrees difference between the two.

Coolant runs about 180 when warm almost rock solid, so I'm guessing that is the rating for the thermostat.

He's in Utah though, not sure where you're at... I'm seeing 140 (IAT2) after being in some traffic when it's 50 outside... my IAT1 is maybe 60 degrees. He's only 100 degrees over the IAT1 reading, so pretty close.

Yeah, same here. On any given day, my IAT2 is about 20 degrees higher than IAT1 while on the interstate.

Tonight, it was in the mid 50s here. I had a air1 of 60* and then air2 at 150*. Mine stays between 80-90 degrees difference.

You had any problems with the boost reading?

You are also running a whole lot more on that thing. Probably generating more heat from the added boost.

80-90 is too high. That's what I was seeing with no working intercooler. Is this normal highway driving, or around town, or anything like that? You're not generating much extra heat at all when you're not WOT with the smaller pulley, it's bypassing.

This is just daily driving. You think I should take it in to the dealership and ask them to look at the intercooler wiring?
