People Just Don't Know About Us

I just talked to a Master tech. He said he has heard rumors of a hot Saturn, but that's it. I told him about mine and his jaw dropped like, WTF? Cool, huh?? I guess the same feeling of the GT I beat the crap out of!!

Yet I had a kid, no more than 10, come up to me and say "Sweet redline man" as I was installing Amishland's kit upside down staring at the fuse box...lol

But yes, I know what you mean.

Oh, and damn dude do you start a lot of threads.

Nothing wrong with being excited.

Well my;"Eaton Inside" stickers are now on the rear quarter panel windows. Lower right hand side. I was at the dealer today to get some scratches buffed out. Most RL spoilers are dealer attached and the moron that installed it, scratched the crap out of the deck lid while installing it. The general financial manager was there. He was waiting for me. Turns out, he lowered my car payments 70 bucks a month! Cool! He said Saturn is doing more aggressive ad work. I asked him about the Redline and he told me it's in the niche tuners market. The hardcore tuners know what a RL is.

Our cars are not much of a secret anymore. Almost everyone I've talked cars with knows what it is.

I've noticed that the ricers are less likely to try and race me lately too. It's like they know better.

Everyone with an 04 (and maybe some of you early 05's) can remember when NOBODY knew what the hell it was that just handed them their ass.

Yeah, but I've noticed lately that people have a SLIGHT idea of what our cars are... But the name seems to be impossible for them to remember even though it's cool as shit. No one can ever remember Redline...

They shoulda called it the Saturn Ion "That Supercharged One"

Cuz all I hear is "Hey is that that supercharged one?"

What a funny ass badge that woulda been.

Almost as bad as when I would tell people I ran Nitrous on my SC2 and they would be like "ZoMG! YOU RUN NAWSZ!?"

The K and N is not a waste of money if you've destroyed your stock airbox for a ghetto ram set up and it sucking hot air keeps throwing your car into limp mode.
