JUST got a 2007 Ion Quad Coupe!

well i finally got it!
The FIRST 2007 Ion that my dealership has sold.
This one is loaded:
-Ion 3 in "storm grey"
-Black leather interior
-Automatic transmission
-2.4L performance package.
-Sport Appearance package
-travel package with onstar
-sunroof
-Advanced audio system

Then i have a few aftermarket add-ons as well.
heres the list:
-17" Centerline RPM forged alloy wheels (15 lbs apeice compared to 21Lb factory wheels)
-Progress lowering springs
-SMS strut tower brace
-Fujita cold air intake
-SMS big bore throttle body (will be added next week)
-Thermal R&D stainless steel catback exhaust
-sport pedals
-Front Grill insert
-rear bumper chrome insert
-ventshades window deflectors (not the best LOOKING thing, but functional)

Im taking it next week to get the windows tinted as well...... its going to need it...starting to get hot.....

Its the first 2007 Ion my dealer has sold. It was specially ordered from the factory on May 5th and arrived on May 24th. All of the additional accessories were installed by my dealer. So far I have to say this car handles like a DREAM. not even comparable to my last one. This car is much more of a performer even though it does have a automatic transmission, it still will put you back in your seat.
One noteable change, and i dont know if this was different on 06's or 05's but in this car, the rear window on the back door is longer than the one on my 2004. I dont know when this change was made of this is a new 2007 change, BUT i noticed a huge difference because my biggest complaint of my 2004 Ion QC was the blind spots, they seemed to have changed it on this car.
any questions, feel free to ask......... I havent seen any other 07's yet on the forums.

OH YEH, i want your opinion, look at the second picture, i put the ventshade covers on the headlights, what are your thoughts?

Ill post more pics later

First off, that car looks badass. If Saturn made the Red Lines in Storm Grey, I would have gotten one.

No offence and not trying to knock on your new car, but what made you get the 2.4 with the sport appeance package over the actual Red Line? The way your car ss equipped is probably the same cost as a Red Line.

Ah well..It'll throw people off when they race you and pound you and then get the stomping of a lifetime from me

But honestly for what you just spent on that I'm pretty sure you could've had a redline. Any reason you chose not to?

Thumbs up

Congrats, your Ion3 looks great with the new wheels, can I ask what those cost? It's kinda hard to tell about the ventshades on the headlights because of the lighting, what I can see does look good though.

Now please don't take this the wrong way but why would you buy a 3 over a RL, seems like you spent some good money on your 3. I'd might have been interested in a 3 with the enhanced pkg but I just don't like the stock wheels, if I bought some nice wheels the price difference between a 3 and RL wouldn't be that much.

Anyways, you have an awesome looking 3 and you should be proud of it....post more pics when you can.

That looks hot in that grey color... I like's it... Yeah, it would be better if it were a RL, but that's ok. You can make it damn fast anyway.

Hmm, the sport appearance package makes the Redline even more of a sleeper...

Arrow

I actually like that quite a bit. If that were the grey the car was offered in instead of the silver, I might be riding around in that color instead of the blue. With the Centerline's on there too it looks real good.
