ok peeps so im now officially a neub. I just picked up a brand new 2005 redline. yes i said 2005. It is blue, with 588 miles on it. It also has the performance package. For the people that know their stuff. the performance package was not offered in 2005. That is what they told me at the dealership, correct me if i'm wrong, cuz i'm a neub. On top of that i paid 19,500 while the sticker was 25,111. This car has every option on it. Minus a 6 cd changer.

Performance package as in the competition package? They told you wrong, 05 was the first year for it.

I am fairly certian they DID offer it in 2005, but I could be mistaken.

I paid 17,500 for mine, and I have everything but comp package, and it was a 2006 with 45 miles on it. I also work for GM though.

You're right, the 05s DID offer the competition package. Plus, if they didn't offer it in 05, how would you get it? Its not like 1 of a kind. Although, 06s the Blue isn't something you can come along easily. They only used up the rest of their blue ones to make them 06s.

WTF you got robbed, i got my 2005 in may 2005[my car was 1 year old last weekend ] and i paid 19.5k and 21k with extended warrenty.

......WTF are they selling 2005 in 2006 as brand new? they are like a year old.

yes my bad it is the competition package, they just told me it was very difficult to find one, and that they are rare. Not that it is a basrtard child of they assembly line.

what was the msrp on your car? i got 5611 off the msrp. That is better than gm discount.

Yea, my msrp was abour 23k and change. I got GM plus other things. So o got about 7k off and an 06.

That sticker price is if it's new. That is last years model. Granted it's almost the same, they should lower the price to move them off the lot and get the new model in. You didn;t get completly robbed, but you coulda paid a lot less
