exhaust q/a

we've had this discussion about the flex pipe cracking and i've yet to get mine fixed for a few reasons 1: is it okay to put a solid exhaust on with our motor mounts?(i do have the toque braces) and the other question i somehow forgot while typing this so i'm guessing not too important... i just wanna know the best way to go about fixing this without it happening again or causing another problem down the road...

i wouldn't put solid pipe in there.. what if a mount snaps? then you have bent an expensive exhaust.......

do you have a welder and know how to use it? I can get 3" and I mean true 3" inner diameter flex sections if you can weld it in and put the flange on it.
