having owned an '04 and an '06, there are differences between the years. Mainly in the way they run. The '06 feels much more refined in the power that it puts down. The '04 felt raw, but still fast. My '04 was a lemon and was replaced by Saturn after a lengthy fiasco.

The new car does not have the advanced audio that the '04 had, and there is a big difference. The standard sucks balls! The advanced may not be great, but it is way better than the standard.

Something that bothers me is the front cup holders. The '04 had a staggered set of cup holders, and the right one was deeper, which held the drinks better. The '06 has them side by side and they are shallow, and setting a 12 oz. can in it will not work, as the bottom of the holder is raised, letting the can slide and tip easy.

Back to mechanical, for some reason, maybe because it felt raw, the '04 felt quicker than the '06. Mght be because the LSD keeping all the power down and letting the car grip instead of spin, but something in there is different...

I like the black seats in the '06 better than the blue in the '04, but liked my blue paint better than the black on the '06

It will still rip them loose, but with the posi, you get more control of the spin.

I think that also affects how i seem to feel less power in the '06. The '04 would lose a wheel and the RPM would fire up, either forcing me to pedal, or shift. The posi allows me to get to the point of slip, and hold it there while still accelerating. A little pedal still involved, but not like the non-lsd.

But yeah, simply floor it and both wheels are up in smoke, straight into second...
