Tach hookup

I just purchased a new Redline and I want to hook up an external tach (with shift light) mounted on the steering column. Does anyone know how to hook the tach wires? Also, is there a Haynes or a Chiltons manual for the Redline yet?

I purchased an Autometer tach w/shift light and an Autometer boost gauge(Phantom series). I am going to install them on the top panel (in front of the steeing wheel). I ordered another top panel from my Saturn dealership. It is supposed to be in Thursday. This way I do not have to drill holes in the original dash panel. I can swap the panel out when I get rid of the car. I will have pictures of the installation when I get around to installing them.
