Arrow Clutch clicking anyone? help...

hey guys i'm new here and i really love your forum. I just purchased a new 2004 redline and have been driving it for 3 weeks. once i turned the radio off i noticed that my clutch makes a clicking sound when i push it down. does anyone know about that? also another thing that i am questioning is when i am in 5th gear and take my foot off the gas to let it coast, the car makes a funny noise like in the cartoons when goofy falls off the cliff. ok not really that bad but i don't know any other way to describe it. can you guys help me? thanks,
mike

It feels like 2 switches, one the engages as you push in, and one that engages right near the floor. I haven't looked to see if there are two, but the one that engages right away probably turns off the cruise control, and the second one engages the clutch start switch.

the other noise i think you are talking about is a slight gear noise when you let off the gas pedal, and all of them do it. they have some discussion about whether its worth checking into but nothing about a fix or if there will be a fix as of yet.

In my though, there really feels like a switch when I first push in the clutch. It sounds/feels the exact same as the bottom one. I'll take a peak for my own curiousity, maybe there's just something rubbing against it? It's certainly in the clutch pedal, and it feels JUST like the floor switch. I know my Camaro had a couple of switches (3?) on the clutch pedal.

The other noise could be the gear noise which is very subtle, but it could also be a backfire which is like a boom boom sound. The PCM flash has reduced my backfiring, but it is still there somewhat.
