How long will it last???

force incuded engines never really lastlong even with the best of care. how long till a full rebuild is in order you guys think?

Fo-evah dog! Naw, but I think if not abused too badly, I expect to get 100k+ miles. I'm all GM though, and if I had a rack of mods pushing mad powah, well what do ya expect. I think a STOCK lsj, well maintained can do it easily. JMO

long time ago you had to be doing something to keep it running past 100k now cars are made to...... honda has 105k maint free.....

I saw a 78ish Saab Turbo last year with 500K+ miles. I doubt it was ever totally rebuilt since it was rusty and most people won't spend major $ on high mileage cars.

My moms Jeep has 260k on it and is still going strong... I think my Ion will go to 100k... it had better at the rate I am going it will be there before the car is paid for.

Even my old piece of crap Mercury Topaz had like 125k on it and if I would ahve tried I could have kept it going a little longer, but I wanted a new car so I let it die peacefully

I think it'll go 100k if properly maintained (that means not running 2.7" on stock injectors)
