annoying whine at 60 mph.

It is no big deal but at about 60 mph I get a high pitched whine step on the gas and it quits put it on cruise and it quits turnoff cruise and it is back .My radio is off when this happens and it always happens about the same speed.Any ideas?

Did you recently get your wheels rotated? Saturn dealerships seem to forget that we have directional tires... Check to see if the tread pattern is going the right way.

Thanks but that is not the problem I can live with it but if there is a cure I would like to know.

LOL! Wanna talk about whine, the STC boys and I modded my intake, got a K&N 90% open, left the back of the airbox for heat shielding from the tranny. It sounds like a Ferrari after 5k RPM now.
