Just an idea. Lift up the passenger side head rest all the way and rig something up to fit in the gap there. Would probably need to move the whole seat all the way forward for the best viewing(of which still might not be great) but i might could work...

No need to remove the headrest. Just use a clamp to fasten it to the rods like the Chasecam one. You know what I am talking about?

This one works well for the exterior or interior also

Damn, i wish I could find it, but cant.

I made a mount just like the chase cam, for the cost of the tubing and about a half hour. Used an old tri-pod head to mout the cam.

i stopped using it, when I saw a nasty pic. Some guy doing a road course crashed in a turn, and his head slammed over into the chase cam, putting a nice square crush area in his helmet. Had he not been wearing one, OUCH!

Ok, here is what I do.

I got a piece of angle iron, with holes in it every inch. (3 feet maybe?)

I put u bolts around the head rest posts and through the holes in said angle iron.

On the now horizontal part of the angle iron, I screwed the wrist/head of a camera mount that I bought at target for $10.

In total it cost me like $15 and works pretty good. From the angle iron, I can mount the camera in A LOT of differnt positions (passnger seat/center view/rear/out the sunroof[with a stalk of some sort])
