Stage 2 Rocks

But I need to race something remotely quick and beat it. Because it's only been 3 days and I'm already used to the new power and its starting to not feel as fast. My passengers get put back in their seats pretty good but it feels almost like... Like I didn't do anything.

Is it normal to become desensitized to power? Do I have a disease?

Now I need something to control this goddamn wheel hop.

Though this weekend I'll have access to my old SC2 Automatic... I bet driving that and then going back to my Redline and I'll feel the difference.

No it does kick ass and there is a definite improvement but I'm a former nitrous user and it's more of an off/on kinda gain. This is an ALL over gain so it's not QUITE as noticeable but you do feel it and it does kickass. But I wonder what kinda cars I can hang with now.

I'm going to get it dynoed soon to prove that something is wrong with my brain and not my car.

if I drive my dsm around for a few days then go back to my csvt. It is like driving a pinto with a anchor dragging off the back.

Hey Krux,

You and I need to make a trip to go get dynoed together. I am still bone stock so we can compare. I'll let you drive mine if I can drive yours! I bet you'll notice the difference between the two!!!

Yeah, Horsepower is a drug. You get de-sensitized (have more tolerance), to the power over time and need more, and more, and more, and more, hey, leave my crack alone!!! lol! Hey! You broke the lightbulb!!! GRRRRRrrrr

Next thing you know it's late at night are you're in your room with the blanket pulled over your head and a flashlight, arguing with yourself how $800 for a supercharger really isn't that bad of a deal. Sure you need tires and you can see the belt, sure junior is crying because he hasn't eaten in two days, sure the power got turned off, but this is horsepower, man. Horsepower....

You have a room? I thought that living somewhere other than the car was pure luxury
