gauges: need some help.

Ok, so I want to get my gauges in for the STC show this saturday.

I have the duel gauge pod from ebay (for the a-pillar), an interceptor, and an autometer boost gauge. I know there is a "how-to" on the boost gauge, so I should be ok with that one (I hope) but what about the interceptor.

How do I get the a-pillar off, run wires etc?

I know I should use the search button (which it did) but I would prefer to not have to search all over the damn place to find the answers that I want.

Easy, the A-Pillar comes off by removing one screw. Run the wire where you can....

Sounds simple to me.

But what 12v source are you talking about. (Dani told me) The battery itself?

Should be some 12v sources in the steering column. Hopefully someone else will jump in and say what they are. I know where the middle where the passenger compartment fuse box is. There is a large Blue wire that is a 12V source with the ignition is on.

for the interceptor power wire you take off the sterring wheel ignition cylinder/switch cover i believe its like 4 10mm screws/bolts then you locate the ignition cylinder theres one blue wire in there. you splice into the blue wire thats your 12 volt switched power wire. I used a butt connector and twisted one end of the blue wire in with the power wire from the interceptor and the other end of the blue wire went into the other end of the butt connector. and it was that easy.

I'm starting to think I shouldn't try this by myself, it sounds a bit more complicated than I may be able to handle. Especially since I don't have room for error since I have to work tomorrow. God I fucking hate speed and truck world! They had to go and bail on me at the last second.

Arrow

I thought the new interceptors didn't have the 12v switched wire seperate? Maybe it's just the 04's they've been able to do this on?
