Running on Empty

The other day I put 13.26 gallons of gas in my 13 gallon tank! I know you get a bit more due to the filler neck, but still I was pretty damn low!

What is most anyone else has put in thier RL? (In a single fillup)

Exclamation

Running way low will be trouble for your fuel pump over time...

9-10 gallons on a fill for me.

Thats what I have always heard to. The gas that is in the tank is supposed to "cool" the fuel pump, and if you let it get low, it sucks up "gook" that has settled at the bottom of the tank over time. Atleast thats what I have heard.

If you regularly run it all the way to the bottom, it'll be fine, you won't have the gunk in the bottom because most of it will go with each tank you empty.

It you never run it that low, and then by chance you do once in a blue moon, you are asking for problems.

I've put in 13 gallons.
