Saturn did? So they fixed it and de-lemonized it, or just sold it as is?

It had an alignment issue that the Saturn dealership couldn't fix.

I don't know all the particulars, but I bought it as a trade-in from a Dodge dealership, so it couldn't have been lemoned outright. I guess some kinda compensation was given to Jeepin for the hassle.

When I bought the car, it pulled a TINY bit, but that went away when I inflated the tires to proper spec.

After I found out the history of the car, I called the dealership I bought the car from and asked them to go over the inspection paperwork w/ me.

The only thing they changed were the two front tires.

I can almost guarantee that they guy who just lemoned his Redline in this thread was dealing w/ a Saturn service center that didn't have the tools/knowledge to properly fix the Saab transmission. It wouldn't be the first time we've seen repeated failed tranny repairs.

Someone will buy it. Saturn will put a brand new tranny in, and all will be well.

Ah, thanks for explaining that. I guess one man's trouble is another man's joy.

I had issues with my 04. It spent more time at the dealer than at my house. The car was never offically classified as a lemon because Saturn told me I was full of shit. They gave me a cash settlement to shut me up and leave them alone and I traded the car in for a SRT-4. I loved the RL but I got tired of taking it to the dealer every other week and it not getting fixed. So far 12k on the SRT and it has never been to the dealer.

So far 15k on my RL and never been to the dealer.

Hell! I got in a pretty big accident with it (totaled the other car, it couldnt even drive away), and all I had to do it replace the headlight and bumper cover, and the thing STILL is perfect. (I did the work myself) Nothing wrong with it mechanically.
