The formula that most states use, of the ones that allow builders to charge a buybqack fee, is this...
Mileage x vehicle price divided by 100,000. It really does suck, but most of the states have some sort of this law that allows a usage fee. Soem don't, and some have a variance, such as only counting miles after 12,000. Georgia, you have to have had the vehicle in the shop for the lemon problem, within the first 12,000 miles or year of ownership. Which sucks, as other vehciles could have the same problem, but have up to two years and 24,000 miles to report a problem, and not have to pay usage. And Saturn is well aware of who they can charge...
