Hole/Slot in our dashes?

Was just thinking about it cause i was bored at a light. you know that hole/slot in our dashboards between the 2 middle vents? does anyone use it for anything? was just wonder what people did with it i have my sirius reciever there.

one guy took the 'ION' badge off the back trunk and mounted it there. It looked pretty sweet.

I had two customers do the same thing, one Sirius and the other was XM. The XM Commander unit almost fits exactly in the opening, almost flush. It looks nice.

Im gonna put a tape deck there...that would fit. then I can play all my old rush and journey tapes again...

damn you all! he is talking about the little shelf part, not the thing that says 'ION' that is really where the passenger sensor light is to tell you if the airbag is turned off

by the way, I used to use those same air vent smell things.. damn they smell good
