There's lots of kids that can't drive their 'balts well yet. I believe the guy could have won, anything can happen on the street. But you notice how he said 5-6 cars, but he couldn't tell from the mirror! It was definetly closer than that, or the chevy was running really REALLY poorly.

yeah to pull like 5 or 6 car lengths the blower would have had to not even be working. and even then it wouldnt have been that bad.

Yep, that's where the "couldn't tell because the mirror" BS comes into play. Never know though, the kid may have sandbagged to hustle him, they are betting $ on the re-match.
there is no way that honda did that. my buddy has a stock si and he is a pretty good driver and he will be the first one to admit he doesnt stand a chance against me in my stock RL

I have also killed the hell out of every si and rsx-s i ever raced stock. But I have lost traction and been beaten by slower cars than the si. + LSJ can be a very weird car to drive at 1st before you get used to it. My 1st time at the track when I was a newbie I ran as bad as mid 15's, took me 4 runs to get down into the 14's, which is a fact that the si can do with a good driver. We just really crush them from a roll, which leads me to believe the kid was sandbagging to set him up (if he really won) if not he's a good liar.
