I'm not sure how good the Mazdaspeed 3 will do, but I did read in SCC and they did say it will be blow away anything FWD right now. Straight away or twisties.

I just can't see this car being better than the MS6. That would be Mazda shooting itself in the foot. And the RL is very simliar to the MS6 in the twisties, and with mods, also in the straigts. Although the data makes it look similiar, the MS6 is NOT an Evo. Not really even comparable. Compare it to the new Subaru Luxury version of the STI or a Legacyl even, but not a normal STI or Evo.

You're also leaving the RX8 and Miata out of the equation. If this car performs as well as people are saying, it OUT PERFORMS BOTH OF THEM. I'm not saying it won't, just saying that does not seem like a good move for Mazda.

lol remember Ford owns a large stake in Mazda or rather owns Mazda

this is what i think they have done whether they like it or not

miata = flickable, light, cheap car
rx8 = track maniac, good LOOKING car
ms3= performance car, off and on the track, and dragstrip, an all around car
ms6= fast luxury car, a legacy competitor
