Ms 3 > Rl?

Yea I know we're all biased, but I just wanted to get some thoughts into the comparison.... and this might grab some attention

The upcoming (or is it officially out now?? if it is, test drive time!) MS3 looks to be absolutely ridiculous.

263 hp and 280 tq. Just pulled up the weight, looking to be about 200 lbs heavier than the RL (freaking fatty...). 2.3L Turbo. And probably for a few bucks you can probably get it to the level of the Mazdaspeed 6 300/300 (i think the numbers were). Definitely looks to be some SERIOUS competition for our market.
Oh yea and LSD standard, all for like 22k base.

Nice price, probably good quality interior and exterior (it's a mazda ), and probably wicked quick and some damn good handlign (mazda3's are already known for their handling capabilities)

downside is the car is rather bland looking

anyways thoughts? that's some NICE numbers for a new comer to the market, and for the price as well.

Would have been all over that. The numbers are insane for the MSRP and quality of a Mazda. One problem though, it's a hatch.

As I've said before, it could be faster than sin, but I still have too look at it every day.

Yeah, that thing will be sickening to run into on the street. I don't think it has AWD, however, which would make that thing a terror to launch. Turbo lag may help them out there.

My friend really wants one, and I can hardly blame him.

Lol yea, but looka t the the possible new RL replacement, same thing

and it's not ugly as it could be, just bland.

but that is one hell of a combination, better quality than the saturn, and faster as well, and possibly a better handler, all for like a grand more

it'll probably be close to the same problems the SRTs are having, it'll probably go almost eaxctly the same way as well.

Yup, isnt the new SRT a hatch too that's also pushing 300 horses? They are deff mean and will totally smoke us, but I'm happy with the RL. I'm too old to drive a hatch

srt will probably have the handling of the old one though, the neon really isn't a good base.

the mazda3 though..... mmmmm

the hatch thing seriously upsets me and would keep me from ever considering the car, but oh well.
