So what is the best way to get these to fit? The tools sound like a waste if you dont have a monster to plug it into... I need to get my 2.6" on next week, any suggestions? How much do I need to file to fit it on there?

If I do use the tool, who has it, and who's gonna let me use it?

Do you have the ZZP 2.6" I heard that literally takes 5 minutes to clean up the snout with an actual file, no machining tool needed for those.

no, SFPH, Rice's blower looked like he just barley sanded it down a bit, I couldn't tell the difference between mine and his, other than the obviously smooth parts if it...

I've been thinking about going to the 2.5", just had no desire to buy the tool to machine the snout or buy one from Intense. Any other suggestions?

Well you can get the snout from INTENSE for a 2.5" for $50 or rent a tool to machine the snout from ZZP for $35 and spend hours shaving it down. As far as the pulley puller you can rent that from ZZP. The rentals you get money back when returned.

Well, I found my snout casting to be off a bit, meanging the center of the snout, and the center of the shaft were not the same. So I had to file fown about a 1/16" off of the apex of one side, and smooth it out over that 1/2 of the snout if that makes any sense. About 30min of filing total.
