Question Is the Wizard behind that door?

I gotta know, has anyone ripped apart their dash enough to see what's behind the blank plate right in front of the shifter? WHAT A WASTE OF SPACE! I'm lazy, and wanted to know if any of you had looked. It would be a great place for a storage compartment or EQ or something.

Thanks for your help!

Campbell,

No, it is mostly unusable. there are computers and such behind it. The driver's side is unusable space, but the passenger side of it is ok for switches and such. If you want to, the side panel there is a "screw" type holder thingy towards the front of the car that holds it in place. A quarter turn, pull it out, and then bring the entire piece towards the rear. You will need a flash light.

I mounted some lighting controls to that piece. But don't think you can do much more that that.

And the wizard was behind a curtain.

OPen it up and take a look. It is not hard and you won't break anything. Hell if you have long enough fingure nails you don't even need any tools. Sorry man. I know this killed alot of stuff for me too.
