Best Tires?

So I am going to need new tires sometime in the near future and wondered what where the best tires for me. I want something I dont have to change to go to the track but I want the best traction I can get? Are there streeet legal DR tires out there? If so how long do they last if I use them for daily drivers? If there are not DR's for street use as well what tires should I look for?

A set of good ol, costco kirkland specials will do the trick.

I have tires that everyone says are crap but I like alot so far, the Falken Ziex ZE-512. I wanted a set of the Goodyear Eagle F1's but my budget didn't allow.

I don't know of any Street Legal DR that gets even remotely decent traction in rain, let alone snow, so that's a hard question to answer. Personally, I have 245/50r16 G-force KDW's for the road course and 255/50r16 Drag T/A's for the strip, and I run the 215/45r17 Pole Position all-seasons the rest of the time.

I have the Ziex's (5 or 6?) on my Dodge Ram. They are an okay street tire; the milage didn't impress me. Of the 70-80K mile rating I was told they were, I will only make 50K. Of course, I am sure they are a completely different animal when on a car.
I have Azenis on the Redline and LOVE them. I didn't buy these with longevity in mind. Time will tell.

Those General UHP's look pretty interesting I am gonna look into those a bit further. Where did you get them for $70?
