07 Ion Redline

Well I just got the first 07 to be sold at my lochal Saturn dealer, I will have pics tomorrow. It's black has the comp package, sunroof, aero wing, gun metal wheels with the chrome outer ring, the thing I like with my 07 is the Seats are FULL leather, not the fabric/leather like the earlyer years. But I heard I might not get the performance parts made for my year

In relation to your seat thoughts, I think you 07 guys are the only guys that appreciate the leather seats. All of us just adore our Recaro's. Also, I wouldn't see why your RL would be excluded from performance parts. It's the same car as every other year, they just change the tune a little bit each year.

The only thing that wont work on your car right now, is the GM stage upgrades and I'm not sure about HP Tuners...

I LOVE MY RECAROS. I like the fact that i can get in to my car and not be sticky hott on leather or freezing, cause i got cloth in the middle.

What do you mean by performance parts? Just about everything that bolts-on to the 04-06 Red Lines will work on 07s. So that means any intakes, pulleys, exhausts, etc will work. The only thing that will not work is the GM stage kits from a dealership. With the Ion Red Line production already finished, it's hard to say if there will be an 07 specific tune since it was a short run model year.

NO I wish I would've gotten the Recaros....but when there is one '07 on the lot & no where else to get a '06 Redline (at the time) & it's not an option (for the Recaros).....didn't have a choice

They're definitely the better seat (for comfort & support), but the only thing I'm not too fond of is the blue inserts. I like the Cobalt SS's Recaro seat inserts better, but again that's not an option
