I don't know if it would be of any help, but I changed the tires on my SRT to a wider size, and it helped immensely. We have the same problem with bad wheel hop. I don't know what the factory size is for the RL, but ours are 205/50s and I went to a 225/45 (which was a tight squeeze on a 6.5" rim), and I noticed a HUGE difference, which also made it easier to launch. I know they make motor mounts and things for our cars now that help, too. Hopefully they'll come out with better mounts and such here soon to help you guys out, if they haven't already.

We have 215/45/ZR17 tires. Our Rims are 17x8.

I agree, Motor Mounts will be a great improvement to help stop wheel-hop.

I don't know if a wider tire would make much more of a difference for you guys or not then.

Are they 17x8 or 17x7.5?

Probably make more of a difference by getting a 'better' tire, not just a wider one. What brand did you go with for the SRT? Does yours have the LSD, newer one?

I'd have to go for a fat set of Potenzas. They stuck like glue on my STi.

I went with some cheap Sumitomos from tirerack.com. The stockers are 3 season tires, so I needed some year round tires for the winter that were inexpensive. I actually have begun to like these better than my stockers. I don't have the lsd. I've driven both with and without and didn't notice much a difference off the line, but a hard accel. coming off a turn I did.
