hey, im new to the boards, and new to the redline, i just bought it about 3 weeks ago, and im loving it so far. However, i was wondering where my car stock stands with a 99 mustang gt? Ive heard i could take a 04 and down, but whats the truth in that?

Welcome to the boards...where are you from? From a roll, it is pretty close, all depends on the driver kind of. The 4.6L Mustang from the 90s is rather easy...

thanks, im from Knoxville, Tennessee. yea i was thinking it would be pretty close, but the other night on the interstate one was right behind me, i hear him rev up so i take off and he could never catch me, as we proceeded to hit 135.

A friend of mine has a '94 Mustang. It's the first year after the Fox body style and it still has a 5.0L. Anyways, he's changed the rear end gears, has an MSD ignition, a cold air intake, underdrive pulleys, headers and exhaust. In the 1/4 mile, I beat him by almost a full second.

haha, who knows possibly, pretty damn cool you know about the dragon. i actually liev in maryville,tn (20 minutes from knoxville) and i pass 129 (the road the dragopn is on) everyday on my way to school.

its an 04 with 13000 miles, the warranty is almost up anyways, haha

I go down to Gatlinburg at least once a year now. I see all sorts of Minis and Miatas that go out on there. I'd love to go through it for a while...I think it would be a blast...
