And yeah, like others have said, scaring other cars is great. With my setup, including 2.6 pulley, the scream in 1st is ear-bleeding. Anywhere in 2nd you can hear the s/c. People ALWAYS turn when I tromp it.

BTW -- I've been pulled over three times and warned, though I wasn't speeding. Just sounded like I was. Be careful! Cops don't take kindly to forced induction.

I was kinda hoping most cops would be taken with the car. Being it's domestic and rare. I guess the huge wing isnt helping us out though. There's nothing like getting out of ticket by having a little conversation with cops.

This is totally OT, but this is how I beat a ticket before.

I totally blew a red light doing 20+ over the speedo. I saw the cop and immediatley pulled over before he even flashed me. I have a friend who gave a few tips. First thing pull AS FAR OVER AS POSSIBLE and keep your hands on the wheel.

cop: Licence and reg

Me: My licence is my right hand pocket and reg is in the glovebox. I'm gonna reach over and get it ok?

Cop:go ahead... you know why I pulled you over?

Me:Yeah, I do. I'm an idiot!

Cop:Alright. Geimme a minute. You have any points on your licence?

Me: Not until today.

Cop: why, what happened today?

Me: You just pulled me over for running that light.

Cop: (holding back a smirk) Hold on a seccond.

He goes back to the car and does his thing. Comes back in a few mins.

Cop: Who told you to direct the officer where your credentials are like that?

Me: I have a friend on the Fire Dept.

Cop: I'm gonna let you go, but be careful. You blew that light pretty bad. You could have killed someone or yourself. I don't know where youre headed, but slow down.

Me: I'm meeting a girl...

I find that people with zero points get better treatment. Almost like the cop doesn't (as long as he's not a complete dick) want to be the one to give you the first points. However, after the first jerky cop (or you got caught doing something really retarded) gives you points, then you're screwed.

Knock on wood, I haven't gotten a ticket for a while. The three times I got pulled over, I think the cop was confused when he saw Saturn across my rear bumper. I wasn't really speeding, but the s/c screams if I give any throttle. Just talked to them nice, and they warned me.

The only angry cop pulled me over for "drag racing." Some idiot in a 2.2 Balt w/ fart can wanted to go. I wouldn't. So he floored it and inched away. I just stayed back. Cop made me pull over, too.

In court, the judge asked me what happened, I told him, then the judge asked the cop why he pulled ME over. The cop said nothing.

Fine refunded, no points Cool judges rock, too. Just wear a shirt and tie!

well hopefully i dont have any run ins with cops. well...anymore. i already posted about it in a different thread, but my frist night i have it he pulled me over because my dealer plates were in the back window and he claims that he couldnt see them. they were plainly visable tho. they he started asking questions about the car lol

but anyways, i'm gonna jack my own thread for a second lol. after we got the intake installed, my brother was like, ok start the fire. i tried and it wouldn't turn over at all. so we unhooked the abs ground wire from where it told us to put it, and put it back in it's stock position. it started right up after that...both plates were parts of the frame tho...wierd...scared the crap outta me lol.
