What engine oil does everyone use?

So far I've always been using the Mobil 1 synthetic that's recommended. Has anyone tried any different type of oil? I've got to do an oil change this weekend, and I'm just seeing what everyone else uses.

I've mostly used the Mobil 1. I used Royal Purple once and it seemed like good stuff, but it's pretty expensive.

The Red Line manual was very specific about the GM4718M spec. I'll use Mobil 1 . I can get it at Walmart. I used to only use Amsoil, but its a hassel to get.
