If paypal won't help go directly to your CC company. Explain the situation how this guy kept giving excuses (keep all your emails and what not) and now you are fed up. Tell them you've asked for a refund with no such luck and want to turn him in, since you never got the item. They will help you at, but might ask you to deal with paypal first. Tell them they cannot do anything for you... CC compaany should take care of it.

Well, I sold a guitar amp and had them send me the funds thru paypal. I then sent the amount for the header to Adam without having to use a CC. The transaction was done entirely through paypal. I'm still gonna try to talk to PP about it though.

I didn't have to transfer money from my bank account either so I don't think they'll help.

Hmm, then that is different. You will have to deal with paypal, call them instead of emailing. You'll get farther. Don't take no for an answer, keep asking to talk to their supervisor...

Paypal is a scam. They don't offer any protection, better off using your CC for everything. If the business can't take a CC there is something wrong with them, so take it as a warning and head the other direction.
