engine compartment

I usually don't have much time on the internet between work and ... well sleep so there might be an answer to my question on here somewhere, but I figured I would ask here first to try and make it easier for me .... i got my 04 redline used from the saturn dealership here in stockton about 3 months ago and don't yet know alot about the car other that what I have read here... I tried to find out if I could get some sort of build list for my car per vin or just one in general being some things seem (off) to me with the car IE , the battery is located in the trunk by the spare tire ? is this how the car came stock ? there seems to be a lot of room in the engine compartment where a battery might have once been located... I dunno ... other than that , the car shut down with some computer error when I was on the freeway going like 95-100ish , I took it in to the dealership and they fixed it saying it was the computers not comunicating with each other or something... *shrugs* they weren't much help answering my questions.... anyways , any feedback will help me, I feel like a noob

There are ALOT of cool guys around you. Get some of thier numbers and they'll teach you alot. But to answer your question, Yes, the battery does come in the back for heat and weight distribution reasons.

computer not communicating with each other? WTF I think they lied to you man, you probably hit limp mode or something. Seems like the 04 Redlines are a bit touchy.
