Maint. questions?

I am officially the new owner of a black 2004 Ion Redline, and I had a few maintenance questions:

Was I reading the owners manual wrong, or does this engine really take 6.75quarts of oil including the filter?

And also, what kind of manual tranny fluid/gear lube does this take ( I know my last car took 70W-90/GL4), and when does Saturn recommend it be changed?

The tranny fluid rarely needs changed I think. Brian, do you know what it suggests? The ECOTEC in general is supposed to be rather low maintainence. Well, except ours and the almost 7qts of Mobil 1 synthetic that is required...

If you are looking for the tranny fluid for our transmission (MU3), you can find it at www.INTENSE-RACING.com under STORE/LSJ/Transaxle

I'm going to change the tranny fluid over the winter... I'm sure mine has had a good workout... assuming I don't get the LSD...

Can you have hallucinations about getting the LSD?
