All Season Tires

I am looking at getting some all season tires for the winter and was wondering if anybody had tried the Pirelli P Nero Zero's. My Dunlops still have a lot of life in them but are crap in the 1 or 2 days of snow we get here. I need something that works well in the rain and maybe snow/slush. I will keep the Dunlops for next year.

I have these, haven't experienced too much snow with these, they definitely do grip better than the dunlops did in rain. They also feel like the sidewall isn't as stiff as the dunlops was, that's what I have noticed at least.

i have the p zeros

i bought them as a recomandation of a friend.

i was scaired to drive in the winter with the donlops so i got them.

my true findings.

1. better in snow then donlops. (but still not amiazing)
2. softer side wall.
3. donlops were nice in rain, these are decent but i cant say an improvemt.
4. better dry tracton then the lops.
5. my lops wore out FAST. these arent wearing that well either, but a little
better.
6. they ride very nice

i like these, but at the same time i dont think i found the ultimate tires, i may try another after these.

My last car had the same size tires as the Redline, and I bought some Sumitomo HTR+ 's for the winter months. Not a straight snow tire, but allowed me to get around pretty well in rain, slush, light snow, etc. Really, can you get around good in HEAVY snow with any tire?

I believe they are about $80 a piece on www.tirerack.com. The treadlife is also about 3 times what the dunlops are. Probably a little softer sidewall, but they still perform pretty good. They are also bi-directional, which means you can rotate them from corner to corner (the right way). I got about 36k miles out of my last set of Sumitomo's.

Just my 2 cents.

That would be a big YES! Luckily, we haven't had bad snow/ice over the past couple years like we normally do but the one day we did, I thought for sure that was the end of my RL. Zero traction. I'm getting some all-weather tires soon but not sure what's good.

The lops are okay once you get moving. Starting and stopping however are a WHOLE different story.

I've only ever used one type of all-seasons, and they were generic brand low end on my Cavy...so that really doesn't count..and I use full winter tires on the rl now.
