I use my cruise every day and it works just like goofguy says his does. I find it kinda funny when I am going down a hill and everyone cruises by me and then when I am going back up hill I dart by everyone. I really think it saves on gas too. I drive about 60 miles round trip a day to work and I end up filling up about 2.5 to 3 days at a 1/4 tank.

Ours had that problem. Fixed under warranty. Works great now. It's a common issue in the Ions.

I think thats exactly the reason I haven gotten a ticket in this car, but used to get them all the time when I drove a car with 100hp

Dude, why hold down the gas pedal when you're going like, 80 down the highway for long periods of time in a straight line?

OMG I'm not a real driver because I don't want my foot to cramp up.

I drive like that for 4 hours and I don't have cruise control never came with it. Doing this makes me sometimes creep up to 85-95 mph just to get to my destination. I drive a Regular Ion QC by the way, expect an 05 redline with LSD soon.

I go 85-95 with it on.

My last car didn't have cruise either, and I hated driving for hours because my foot would cramp up.

All I'm saying is the idea that you're not a "real driver" because you take advantage of a nifty feature is kinda silly.

My RL takes turns in being moody. First the CC went out a few times but the dealer couldn't replicate the issue. It sort of fixed itself i guess. Then the sun roof stopped working for 3 days and when I was on the way to the dealer it started working agian. Then the radio went out and now it works fine again. Who knows what's next. Other than that I think I have a great car. I guess it just give the car some attitued. Maybe the attitued is against the driver. LOL
