Next would be the a/c. Happened to me, but fixed under warrenty. It also came on as I was about to hit the dealers lot. Been there for 2 hours and had nothing to eat.

When I had my car in for the recall fix, their vending machine was empty (how?) so I asked my dealer buddy if he could score me some food some how...he goes up to his manager...he comes back asks me what I want from micky d's and 15 min later I have it at no charge...that made me feel a little better for sitting there for 2hrs...and I have only used my CC twice in two months, I hope the actual problems aren't to serious as I am going on trips this summer with the car.

They had snacks, but I had no change (debit card), so I didn't even ask. I went taco bell when I was done, I get full quick though. Then hungry 2 hours later, 3 homemade hot dogs. It's breakfast time in lunch hour!

Well, the way my friend got the manager to buy me food, was he explained that I spent 26K(cdn) on a car which has had to come back for a recall 2 weeks after I bought it, the least the manager could do was to buy me food. I really didn't care how I got it, I would've paid for it if I would have had a way to get their....I was just hungry as hell.

never had any problems, ever.

i have situations where using the cruise control is a must, and on longer trips as well. spooner is right when he says it's ok to use, it's there isn't it.

although not using it makes you a REAL driver

Well bugger me if mine isn't under investigation with the dealer for the very same reason intermittent dying cruise control problem.

Thanks for proving I'm not going crazy, as the look on the service manager's smirk would have me believe.

I love this forum!
