Side by side through 2nd, the mazdaspeed3 felt the same as my RL when I test drove it. However, 3rd felt insanely fast. Too bad you missed 3rd, and didn't get another opertunity to run. It would be interesting to see the outcome. From my experience, I think he would have pulled on you, but I guess we won't know until someone gets a chance.
