I wouldnt run an Intense stage kit just cuz every car running a tune or variant of thier tune tends to blow up

If you want mad power but dont want to piece everything together get a GM Stage 1, 2 or 3 kit.

LMAO gm power is weak sauce compared to what u can do aftermarket (same day same dyno (247 whp vs 273 whp) gm S1 w/ 2.8 I/Catback vs 2.5 60lbers I/Cat delete...and GM stage 3 is vaporware. And whose intense tuned cars blew up...just refresh my memory as I havent paid much attention with school and all...

I agree that more power can be had in the aftermarket, that goes without saying. But for keeping your car "safe" and not having to worry about anything and beating alot of cars, I like the Stage 2 kit, maybe with a smaller pulley (2.8, 2.9) for those who dont mine swapping it out when they go into the dealer. However if your looking for good SAFE power that will beat every car in your class, I gotta say I like the GM Stage 3. I think they could've gone a different route and made the same power but the whole total package stage 3 offers kids that dont like "messing" with the car and want to stay "safe" I would give all the GM kits the Jaguar seal of approval.

You gotta keep in mind Dan, ALOT of guys arent like you and me...

i wouldnt say that thier tuning abilitys are lacking, its just that you cant order a tune that worked wonders for a car in ohio and expect it to produce the same exact results in Florida, or NY, or delaware or where ever. Not to mention it seems like every single one of these LSJ's has its own personality, and none of them react the same way to a certain mod as another. If i lived in ohio i would consider going to intense and have them custom tune my car, but I would NEVER NEVER install a mail order PCM in my car... just seen to many problems with em, and not just our cars, there are mail order tunes and pcm's out there for just about anything.

If you really like the way the Intense Stage 5 looks to you, i would buy the injectors, a pully, plugs, and a tensioner,(you dont really need the blower ported, it doesnt seem to do much for us) and have it custom tuned by a pro in your area that has experience with the LSJ... it may cost you a little more to go that route, but your car will be happier in the end just my 2cents
